Can we please stop acting like Rove is a political mastermind?
The Republican Party is in the worst shape that it's been since the days of Watergate, largely due to Rove's "leadership". Some of you have let him get into your minds to the point where you buy the myth. Rove is not behind every event in the political sphere.

Fuck Rove. He's thicker than a whale omelet. :)

1. When history is written, he may just have accomplished what he set out to accomplish:
create a dominant single-party political system for a generation. Just not for the party for which he intended to engineer such a feat.

He has blown it for the Rethugs, they got too cocky and thought they could shove anything down our throats. I think the American people, the non wackos anyways, have had enough. and McCain's pick both foiled the media, AND stole the news cycles.

If they're not taking the direction straight from Rove, they're using his 2000 playbook.
