What the NEW baby controversy says
The new controversy over Palin's daughter being 5 month pregnant says a lot.

They pushed Palin and her family forward as the "typical" American family.

Well this PROVES they are. A lot of American families have to deal with this issue daily. It crosses ideologies and beliefs.

It should also be pointed out that it is a DIRECT result of some the very same polices that repub Conservatives have pushed denying knowledge about birth control and pushing abstinence.

I have heard Tom Hartman discuss this pregnancy. However, most of the mainstream press seems to be "honoring" Palin's request to leave her daughter's status out of the political argument.

That will be the talking point, not that one is needed. Who cares if she's pregnant?
