What the hell is this woman doing?

She has an infant with Down's Syndrome.

She has a pregnant unwed teenage daughter.

This woman needs to be with her children.

Where are we living, in the Twilight Zone?

1. This PARENT needs to be with her children. If it were man, it'd be the same deal.
But yes, other than that, I agree with you.

9. That is what I mean, not
because she is a woman but because she is a parent.

4. It's a fucking awful situation McCain has put his voters in.
I don't agree with Republicans or the reasons they vote the way they do.
But I do have a certain amount of sympathy for anyone who was excited
about him as a candidate & then had this shit thrust their way.

I'd have been apopletic if Obama had chosen someone this unqualified.

I say again, it's like McCain doesn't even WANT to win. He threw his voters under the bus, for reasons we may never know.

6. The Palin family is a typical Fundie family
always controversy, always straying off the reservation.

If this was a Liberal family, the birth would be celebrated, but I doubt it would have ever got there. A LIBERAL Mom would have taught the daughter about BIRTH CONTROL!

8. The Benny Hill Presidency.
Inspires our confidence, doesn't it?

Imagine, she's taken over for the POW-in-chief and has to negotiate with France or South Korea or China or Russia.

"No, I didn't mean to hide our submarine/secret CIA mission/anti-missile artillary from you. I just FORGOT to tell you. I didn't know it would become important. But I didn't MEAN to mislead you in any way..."

Illegal drinking ages amongst others. Very anti-GOP. This is not panning out well for the Repubs.

There is not one negative thing about Biden out there. They tried going after Beau and that was shot down.

The kids are off limits. But when the news gets their hands on the Myspace pictures which they will since DU is on it like white on rice, this is going to implode; because I'm sure the McCain camp didn't know about that.

Crazy stuff.

12. There are so many worse things you can say about her
than she needs to go home and be with the kids.

Maybe she's a sucky mom, working or not. But that's beside the point--she doesn't have the qualifications to be a governor, much less a vice freaking president. McCain was out of his mind and made a desperate Hail Mary play and it didn't work.
