Are the fundies still thrilled with Palin?
If this was a "liberal Democrat" whose 17-year-old single daughter was pregnant, there would be an avalanche of bloviating about how the liberal upbringing was responsible. How's Bill Bennett taking today's news? How about Cal Thomas? "Reverend" James Dobson? Is Abstinence Only under siege today?

I hate Republicans

1. They will illogically defend their positions while ignoring
their piousness about honoring premarital sex beliefs. If that makes any sense. Hopefully, the average person will see through this. I know it will give me good ammunition during my door-knocking when I run into a pro-life, abstinence only, family values person. OTherwise, I think Obama/Biden should stay above the fray.

2. As long as she repents and marrys the father I do not see the big issue.
If there was an abortion involved somewhere that would be different.
