actually get McLame "sympathy" votes? Maybe a dumb question, but you know how things get spun.

6. Probably still vetting, right?
I was disappointed to find out my aunt (Mom's sister) and uncle are voting for McLame (uncle is a vet). My mother said my grandfather would be rolling in his grave (she said he and my grandmother never voted Republican).

2. Yes, for some who aren't well informed on the issues, it will. nt

3. Well, when I just told my staunchest republican friend
who was planning to vote for McCain, he went white and had to sit down.

He's also a believe in abstinence only.

He also said, he might just stay home.

4. They'll spin it as another example of abortion not being the answer..
... and sell it as the Palins "being like every other American family." Think Jamie Lyn Spears.

8. When I was in college, my boyfriend (now husband) drove me to a
city clinic where I got free birth control pills (I had to prove that I had no income). We did that for a couple of years.

I knew my parents didn't approve of premarital sex and I didn't want them to be paying for my birth control (we took personal responsibility for our actions by doing what we did. I figured once I got out of college and began working, I'd be paying for another woman's health care needs). If you need birth control, it's available.

I kind of feel sorry for the 17 year old. Her parents did her and her siblings a disservice.

9. If you can afford dinner at McDonald's, you can buy condoms
You're right -- it's available. It's a matter of having the education to either abstain or to use birth control.

However, 17 is not always an age where good judgment is employed.

10. Condoms can fail (of course, so can the Pill, but its effectiveness is
higher than condoms. Condoms are better than nothing, though.).

I agree with you: if you can afford Mickey D's, you can afford condoms.

7. Hell no. There is more to come...
This woman is full of hypocritical surprises. It's going to be one melodrama after another...
She is evil. And eventually, the victims of her past will come back to haunt and expose her for who she is -- a hypocrite of the higest Bible-thumping order.

If you think this is beneath Democrats, stop thinking about Democrats a minute. And think instead about the Republicans. Is this beneath the republicans?

I don't think so. If there is a just God, we can only pray that more of Palin's skeletons are are shown the light of day so the flock will finally conclude they've been misled. Nothing short of the drip, drip, drip of a leaking scandal will wake these people up.
