BREAKING: Palin's Husband has DWI Arrest
Seriously.. are they dumping ALL of the Palin crap today during the hurricane just to hope it blows over?

ST. PAUL, Minnesota (CNN) — A senior adviser to the McCain campaign confirmed Monday that Todd Palin, husband to Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, was arrested for driving while intoxicated in 1984.

"Yes, 24 years ago he had a DWI," senior McCain adviser Steve Schmidt told reporters in St. Paul.

Schmidt was asked if he was worried about the news, and replied, “I was not.”

The story was first reported by David Brody, a CNN contributor and Christian Broadcasting Network News Senior National Correspondent

Not a big deal IMO... but I just think it's odd that TODAY is the day that they are dumping everying Palin.. it's like they just want it to all blow over and be forgotten about by next week.

14. A 22 year old with a DUI isn't exactly the town drunk..
Frankly, I have 4 friends who've had DUI's - they're not town drunks. And, at age 22.. that probably means that they're just enjoying their newfound drinking ability a bit to much. Not defending the guy.. but it was a lifetime ago.. and it happens a lot.

I only posted the OP because it was breaking.. not because I thought it was a huge deal. :)

Have not looked at your body of work here so I have zero idea if you have ordered a pizza yet. FWIW, as an old fart I agree with you that there is a lot for Dems to dislike about Palin without resorting to her husband's 24 year old traffic citations.
