How involved is the hubby, Mr. Palin in the Governing of Alaska?

I read a couple of stories about how he sits in on meetings, and appears to be heavily involved. Is that true, and what evidence to we have to back this up?

I think this could be quite damaging.

Just think if McCain keeled over, who would really be leading our nation?

This underlying question could have great impact on voters decision as to who to vote for.
