The first page in the GOP playbook--Dirty trick yourself and then blame the other side.
This is going to be my only post on this whole out of this world craziness.

I would not put it past any of the republicans that were passed over by McCain to have had a hand in putting the rumors and half truths out there, i can easily see Romney doing something like this.

1. See my posts on the subject. I called it yesterday.
What people are forgetting is that the original rumor on these boards was that Bristol was pregnant. That rumor was then buried by the avalanche of posts pushing the Grandmagate story. What the right did is dredge up some obscure fake baby rumors to put the focus on that for a few days. The news about the pregnancy would have come out anyway because the People photo shoot clearly shows her pregnant and Palin's home town knew about it. Then, the McCain campaign blames the left for forcing them to deny a crazy Grandmagate story. Remember--the right always tries to distort news. The good thing is that blogs like the Huffington Post didn't fall for it and stayed far away from Grandmagate.

And yes. I'll stop posting about it. I don't think anyone here gets it.
