Edited on Mon Sep-01-08 03:38 PM by seabeyond
sound famailiar? and they use their women in these positions. i did research around 2004 because i was seeing more and more in my area. they started in the colo springs area (dobson) and spread down to panhandle of texas. an interesting group. anyway, i dont particularly want to delve into it now. i have been on puter too much. but was talking to a friend who lived in colorado and we were remembering all we had learned about this group 4 yrs ago.

anyone want to check it out and explore, go for it. just putting it out cause i was remembering their intent starting at pta, then council, then mayor.... lol

it might tie in with AIP group too.

10. Yurica.com, I think; and google "dominionists" and "christian
reconstructionists".

These are the people like Rushdoony and North and others who advocate a return to BIBLICAL law as higher than the Constitution. They are really into Leviticus, and want to see a return to stonings for gays, adulterers, and naughty children.

And yes, I'm serious. They may have covered some of their tracks on the net over the years, but I have read plenty. They are a greater danger to this nation than communism ever was.

6. Do you have a "Church on the Rock"?
We have one in my town and they are exactly what you describe. Put dominionist and Church on the Rock in google, and it pops right up. That's what they are. Church on the Rock was her home church in Wasilla, before she switched to Assembly of God. That was what was posted yesterday. I wonder when somebody will put it all together.

8. I've actually been to an Assemblies of God church
in south Florida when I was married to my ex. And I can honestly say..

THOSE PEOPLE ARE CRAZY!!!!

The preacher would be talking pretty normal, and all of the sudden just break out
into disgustingly fake tears every time he would say a prayer.
People would just randomly start rambling gibberish and rolling around on the floor with
their eyes rolling back in their heads...and other people would get up and cry and hug them.
(Speaking in tongues I guess)

Not to mention the fact that the children aren't allowed in the regular church service,
they have to go to "children's church". They are split up into age groups in different rooms
and after both my son and daughter told me about the way they write the names of the kids
that misbehave on the chalkboard under the heading "Kids That Are Going to Hell"...
well...I had to get away from those nuts ASAP!

After being raised in a Catholic church, you can imagine my response.

:scared:

12. I went to a nutso church in Mississippi
I was raised Catholic. My first husband was stationed in Biloxi so we went to a local Church of God, which was way different than the one back here in Oregon. When the preacher started pacing up and down the aisle, with the bible raised in the air, and ranting about hell and who knows what - well I had to go. Last time I was in any church was when a preacher started on Jezebels, in front of my 11 year old daughter, and I stood up and called them all a bunch of hypocrites and gathered my family and left. I just can't do church anymore, at all. That's why I so want these hypocrites to be exposed through this Sarah Palin. Their church craziness, their ridiculous ideas they want to shove on our kids, their relation to militias and separatist movements, the whole lot of it. When the John Birch Society sounds more sane than your VP nominee, something is way way way wrong.

14. Good for you!!!
I know your pain, I live in Mississippi now, but 5 minutes from Memphis, TN. I must say that I have never had anyone
that I've just met ask me what church I go to. Everyone here is crazy. It never ceases to amaze me how so
many people can call themselves "Christians", go to church 3 times a week, yet they are the meanest, most
hypocritical and least compassionate people I've ever met!
They talk about "illegals" like they're are sub-human.
My husbands family are crazy Baptists, and my family (still in Florida) are Italian Catholic Republicans!
This site and my husband are one the few things keeping me sane.
I got thrown off of my mother-in-law's email list because I just got so sick of the bullshit repuke emails,
that I sent an email reply to her and her entire email list of a picture I got off the web that said "When fascism comes
to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross"...she loved that.

11. Notice how as a girl she was into basketball, and then majored in journalism,
and was a sportscaster, and has aspirations of working for ESPN........and then in or around 1988 SOMETHING changed. I think the dominionists spotted her on TV, saw her resume, and thought they had a good one for a stealth political campaign.

These freaks were very open at one time about how their candidates should lie about and conceal their true intentions. They want to position themselves to get into the White House, and then it's gonna be game-set-match. We'll be put back in the 9th century as far as the right to privacy, education for women.

Oh, and the dominionists fully support a return to SLAVERY. Particularly for debtors.
