Palin told McCain about baby last week
(CNN) — Top McCain adviser Steve Schmidt said Monday that newly-minted Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin informed John McCain of her daughter's pregnancy in one of their "private conversations" last week.

McCain aides insist the Arizona Republican already knew about the pregnancy prior to that conversation, having found out earlier during the lengthy vetting process.

"She was very upfront about it," one aide said.

Speaking with reporters, Schmidt also said McCain expected the pregnancy would eventually become public, as did Palin.

"Obviously people would know because she’s going to have a baby that she was pregnant," Schmidt said. "What we want to see happen is the privacy of Governor Palin’s daughter respected. And that’s what Senator McCain wants."

2. But they only talked once before last week
And that was subject of the conversation that led to McNuts selecting her as his soul mate?

They just make this shit up as they go along don't they.

3. Another McCain spin on the story
and the MSM desperation to bury this story, and its related issues on Palin's truth-telling, says volumes about their worries.

5. This is even worse then not knowing about it.
It tells me that Ms. Failin and McDouchebagg thought that it was ok to put Bristol through this. On a side note, the use of Trig as a stage prop is unconscionable. She's quite the sterling mother.

8. That is the thing that really gets me.
They did this knowing that Bristol would be public ally humiliated. What kind of mother would do that to her daughter?

9. Saturday they hid Bristol on the bus
Edited on Mon Sep-01-08 04:23 PM by RamboLiberal
H'mmmm.

At a rally at a ballpark Saturday evening in Washington, Pa., Bristol Palin did not join the rest of her family on stage.

“Then we have our daughter Bristol, she’s on the bus with the newborn, and then we have our daughter Willow, who is here, and our youngest daughter Piper,” Ms. Palin said as she introduced her family. “On that bus we have our son Trig, who is a beautiful baby boy we welcomed into the world just in April. It’s his naptime, so he is with his big sister on the bus. But we thank them for being here. “

12. Don't you love how she kind of over-explains why Bristol's on the bus.
It's sort of like: Um, yeeeah, our oldest kid is on the bus, you know, because we have our newborn, and, uh, that particularly daughters is taking care of that baby while he's napping, and otherwise she'd be out here with the rest of our family, so, you know, that's why not all our kids are here with us, because, you know, there's nobody else who could possibly watch the newborn sleep for the time it takes us to do this rally as a family ...

10. Then this should have been in the press release:
"John McCain was impressed with Sarah Palin’s strong support of a woman’s right to have no choice in bearing children. Particularly, he admired her disregard for genetic counseling (too scientific) and support for pregnancy by teenaged mothers. Sarah Palin sets an example for all American women, who should ignore sonograms and genetic testing (what difference does it make?) and sex education. In fact, ignorance is bliss and in a McCain presidency, education relating to women’s bodies will be discouraged and left to effective parenting as exhibited by the Palins."
