Why Palin?

Missourians could offer up our first term Governor Matt Blunt, son of Roy Blunt. Why, Matty even declared, months ago, that he would not be running for a second term--bad old Democrat Jay Nixon been callin' out the nasty on the little Blunt. Granted that he’s not female, but he’s close. He has the R’s playbook for a heart, too. And daddy Roy, with his connections, could surely keep party members whipped up. Plus, young Blunt can do the fundy-thing with religion. I’m sure he would vet well if given a look-see.

Besides, we have young Blunt to thank for our part in the USAG scandal, we have election criminality at the voter booths and with financing—great R stuff, we believe. Missouri is centrally located, we have the NRA,too, and privatized hunting slaughter grounds, and feral pigs, an agribusiness, bar none, to which the State’s Department of Natural Resources slobbers all deference—who needs mining or oil? We have total environmental deregulation (with a wink from the DNR) and erosion of local control. We got acres and acres of corn and beans, huge, barely regulated Confined Animal Feeding Operations of Hogs, Beef, and POULTRY. The rape of Missouri resources is completely for the highest bidder 'cause 'bidness is what up, show me. This is a lot of stuff, folks…….series.

Well, why wasn’t young Blunt sought out. His young woody over Mittens being passed over has surely deflated—can’t he think of himself for once. Missouri is a big 'ol swinging State.
