What if it were Obama's teenage daughter pregnant and unmarried?

I don't think you'd be getting the "Oh, what lovely family values" from politicians the way the Palin family is getting.

I think what we'd hear is...."Well, yeah....another African American unwed mother, as I expected. No family values or morals. She'll probably end up on welfare."

I really DO think that's what we'd hear. But make it one of the gun-totin' Bible-thumpin' hard intolerant folks who love to force their beliefs down others' throats....and make her not Af. American, and what you get is..."Isn't it wonderful how they actually LIVE their beliefs? They're going to marry and give the newborn the life it deserves....how wonderful! Isn't that a strong family model?"

And MY favorite that I read: It shows that Sarah Palin is really living the average American life and facing what we all face. She's a real person. (Really. I'm not makin' that up.)

3. The odds are lower because Obama and Michelle are sensible parents and they'd never teach abstinence

only. You can be sure that by the time their daughters are sexually active they'll know all about condoms and other birth control methods.
