Mcpow's Campaign: If Palin Stays, She Sinks It. If She Goes, She Kills It.
Mcpow messed up royally on this pick. She is damaged, un-vetted and woefully unqualified. He would have been better off picking say, Paris Hilton or Chuck Norris.

He is stuck between a rock that will sink him, and one that will kill his campaign. He has no good options from here.

I thank the rabid religious right, Obama's popularity, and mcpow's poor judgment for this show-stopping pick.

Now, let's watch this train wreck.

2. Are all these problems of hers getting actual play, or are we the only ones talking about them
I'm in the middle of moving and I haven't been looking at the news the past couple of days, so I don't know.

4. After one day of what a great choice she was, it's been all bad.
The press are sending teams to Alaska now to find out what else we don't know. And, likely, what mcpow doesn't yet know.

22. We're only four days in, and there's been the distraction of the hurricane and the holiday.
I can't even imagine what the tabloids are getting ready to unleash. Of course the media will try to downplay it all, but some of this is too salacious for them to resist. Between babies and out of wedlock pregnant teenage daughter and trooper gate and shooting wolves from helicopters and being a member of a secessionist party not to mention all the people in that little town who hate her guts...

She doesn't have the Washington connections to protect her. The tabloids will eat her alive and the MSM will go along for the ride. Nothing we say here has any relevance one way or the other.

15. Without the Internet, we'd be stuck with the "isn't she a wonderful, refreshing choice!" meme
from the media. But, those tubes are lit up with people comparing information, and the media just CAN'T slip this crap past people anymore. I love it.

18. Maybe McCain "Gets It" Now
That the internet is not some trivial bit of technology, but allows people to research and verify claims. I think he has been running on his image as an honest straight talker, and may realize that his "honesty" is not enough to make people believe him.

16. the msm is all over it...
Her daughter's preganancy - check
Her lack of vetting -- check
Her lie during her first press conference with McPow looking on -- double check!!

Friday's lie about the bridge to nowhere -- lastest I saw was Reuters, from ~5pm.

Not only did she not turn away the earmark money, and not only did she spend it on other projects, guess what the other project was?

I'M NOT MAKING THIS UP!!!!

THE ROAD TO THE BRIDGE TO NOWHERE!!!!!!
