I am a union member and will be doing voter reg.

Unions have a lot on the line. I'm registering voters in Pennsylvania and Ohio.

I am in California. We will probably go blue, but I am not taking any chances.

We can't take anything for granted.

Lots of out-of-state money propping that up. Most Californians either support gay marriage or don't care. Two friends of mine want to get married, but they are afraid their status will be invalidated if that proposition goes through.

There's similar social wedge stuff in every state this year. It won't work as well this year as in 2004, though;
too many people are sick of living in BushCo economic times. I know in California the foreclosure rates in SoCal
and elsewhere are frightening.

Yeah, Rove's political machinations are all over tonight and last night.

The pro-life position irregardless of circumstance is the mainstream view. Drilling for oil will solve our fuel problems. Protestors that block traffic are terrorists. We use enhanced interrogation on dangerous terrorists in order to prevent violence and to preserve human rights. God hates muslims. Health care for all only encourages people to get sick. Elections are not about issues. Weapons of mass destruction existed were the reason for war before they weren't, and then it is our President's accomplishment that those weapons do not exist. Invading sovereign countries is evil.
