I saw a couple union bosses Monday at Laborfest Rally where Obama appeared who could sit on him and squash him!

9. Not much of a target considering that only a little above 12
percent of the American workforce is in a union. When you remove government employees, I think it is around 7-8 percent of the private sector workforce that is unionized. Unions do not hold the power they once did in the 1950s and 1960s. Even union members don't listen to who their union suggests to vote for. Many vote Republican, thinking that just because they make a decent salary they have much in common with the Republican owners of the company.

They like to beat up on unions as if they are big and powerful, but it's like the myth of the liberal media...there aint much there there.

I wish unions were a force to be reckoned with in the US but alas they are not.
