I live in MN. I've seen and heard the reports of ridiculously harsh crackdowns on people who choose to exercise their First Amendment rights. And the ridiculously amateurish Minneapolis media market was baying about how "secure" this convention was.

The St. Paul and MPLS law enforcement reps were on WCCO Radio this very afternoon, CROWING about their crackdown. The chief of coordination said on WCCO this afternoon that the protesters were "criminals from another state or another country". !!

And now this. This is a HUGE failure by the GOP and their thugs to protect McCain.

I loved the dude way up in the rafters with a sign that said "McCain Votes Against Vets!"

The MSM will get all huffy about it...but they DID show the protesters. That's a positive sign.
