The crowd was 'USA-ing' past the graveyard tonight.
I never heard so much fake enthusiasm.

1. I agree the enthusiasm was so fake.
I thought the crowd would erupt with the USA stuff when a protestor was being hauled off. It seemed it was a unifying factor for the “believers”, and an insult to the protestor, like protesting the repukes is anti-USA.

I saw a woman in a bright pink top, similar to the one yesterday being hauled out and the crowd started chanting USA. Then they would do it during McPain’s speech, so I figured another protestor was being taken out, even though the cameras didn’t show it.

5. When Republican Convention attendees shout "U.S.A.! U.S.A.!",
They are confusing the confrontation with security personnel and Code Pink as an Olympic event.
