Ack! Tweety just said
"I believe he'll be ahead in the poles next week. They see a winner and Americans like a winner, even though he had to do it the hard way." :banghead:

What the hell is wrong with these people?

1. Tweety is just DESPERATE to convince the 'Murkin people that
this is a close race and it will be a close election; they have to make us believe that so when the rePukes steal this one, it might appear 'plausible' that they 'won.'

What a bunch of filth.

2. That's funny. I saw a tired old man with tired old ideas
and the cranky, name-calling politics of the past. And a green screen.

That 9/11 Video Shook Him
I don't know what kind of a bounce is coming out of this - or how long it'll last.

The problem for the Repunks is that HE'S the person on top of the ticket, not Caribou Barbie.

He WILL fade. Watch.

16. Actually, he does get the prize
for the worst speech ever. That's sort of like being a winner ... maybe?

Wait, no, I think he might have to share that dubious honor with Cindy and Sarah. Never mind.

21. I didn't watch the whole thing,
but I didn't feel like he was sincere. That's one of the things that made Obama's speech so great, you could tell he meant what he was saying and it was empowering!

23. I did watch the whole thing
although I zoned out a bit just to keep from puking. You are right, though. Obama came off as very sincere. I felt like we really could change the world after he spoke. Perhaps it's time to listen to that one again. McCain did not inspire me. He seemed slippery and fake.

12. Me thinks Ann and Nancy Wilson (Heart) are not very happy about
the repukes using their song "Barracuda" again tonight. Can they sue???
From TMZ:http://www.tmz.com/2008/09/04/republicans-lack-heart/

The article states:

"Specifically, the Heart women are upset that the GOP has used their classic "Barracuda" as a theme song for Sarah Palin. TMZ obtained a statement from Heart's rep, who says "The Republican campaign did not ask for permission to use the song, nor would they have been granted that permission."

How many times has there been copyright infringement????

PS Tweety has gone back to being a dipshit, IMO.

22. The Repukes can afford to pay Heart a settlement
With all the billionaires in their party, they can raise the money to pay off the group.

14. Tweety is just relying on the tradition that candidates get a bounce after their convention.
And he may well be right. McCain might be up by a point or two next week, but IMO any such lead will be short lived. At least, I hope so.
