8. Because of The Attacks on The Media by Palin and Others
MSM is running scared because of the accusations by the repugs over the past several days that were being treated unfairly, so now they are running scared. Bushhole used this tactic to great effect in the past, work every effin' time. Gutless bastards! Pisses me off, Because we all know the speech was lackluster at best, especially when compared to Obama's. McLame's speech wasn't even a base hit let alone the Grand Slam that Barack Obama hit last week.

Don't get me wrong. I don't mean "timeless truths" or "ageless wisdom" or any such BS. It was just how old and flaccid and moth-eaten the whole proceedings were.

School "choice", tax cuts, strong defense, stand tall against Russia, land of opportunity, "USA, USA, USA!!", drilling our way to "energy independence", and (my personal favorite), Changing The Tone In Washington By Reaching Out To The Opposition. I mean, Jesus, what year is it? 1984? 1992? 1976? 1988?

The GOP - a committee of flies fossilized in amber.

26. What I'm doing is writing a check
I'm just trying to stay off the phone list. In 2006 I gave to congressional races in other states, and now it seems I'm on every list. I work from home and the calls drive me nuts. Sometimes I pick up the phone, snarl "I'm tryin' to THINK here, knock it off!" and hang up, but it doesn't help.

But yeah, after last night it's a small price to pay. We have to stop. Them. Now.
