I think John McCain is in trouble
Medically, yeah I know cancer and all that, but I just saw a clip of his speech and while he normally blinks alot when he speaks his left eye, stage left, on the right looking at us, was lazy. It was blinking slower and reopening slower than the other one and on observation that whole side of his face was misfiring and drooping.

I honestly think hes on the verge of a stroke, not wishful thinking. I mean it from an observational point.

The clip was MSNBC saying "I know how the military works......."

1. I saw him pausing momentarily in the middle of some words ever so slightly and I remember thinking
is he gonna have a fucking stroke? So yeah, something was weird about him. I saw it too.

I mean that. His speech was so awful, I felt sorry for him.

3. I think you're right.
This is not his moment. He knows it, and everyone else does too.

4. He always looks like he's on the edge of a stroke to me.
I didn't see anything unusual at all about him tonight. He was incoherent, confused, and had trouble reading, just like any other day.

6. His eyes are LITERALLY black
I can't believe after all these years (he's been in DC forever) I never noticed that before. They are literally dark black.

8. I noticed the same thing and it really worries me.
The extreme right would love to have President Palin.

10. So what happens if the nominee can't finish the campaign?
Does the party nominate someone else or does the VP candidate take over?

11. And he looked very uncomfortable afterward.. he wanted to get off the stage.
he's looking VERY awkward around Palin.. especially when he tries to touch them or talk to them.. or even stand near to them.

14. McCain looks a lot more feeble than when he started this Campaign...
... I think the campaigning has taken a toll on his health.

15. I saw McCain in person last week
He was in our area and I happened upon an informal meet and greet. The man looks very frail. He also seemed to not really know what was going on--he gave a standard little patter and didn't respond in any way to questions and comments from the crowd.

"How do you like Pittsburgh?"

"...and this is my lovely wife Cindy."

17. this is the kind of thing that worries me
I had a thought the other day, that Palin is the real candidate because McCain is not going to make it much longer. I think he's being allowed to run because he was treated so badly in 2000, and he won't live long enough to really be President anyway, so this is a way to get a fundie in under the radar of the "liberal" press.

I don't know if I'm expressing my thought well, but it was something that occurred to me when someone on this board mentioned that M had had an invasive melanoma cancer.

18. I'm TELLING YOU:
Early Alzheimer's...his voice has changed, he clearly has Reaganesque moments while speaking, his temper is short and he has inappropriate facial expressions and cognitively he's not what he was 18 months ago.

Rapid downhill course: Say 'hello' to President Sarah Palin and get a suitcase together....there's a train leaving for the camp in Oklahoma. Be on it.

19. I think he is too.
Another reason why the gop didn't want him in '00. At that time he was going strong. But now I don't know if he's in that good a shape at all. All the more reason to get the blow-dried airhead from Alaska in the VP slot.
