Thank you, Iraq Veterans Against the War -- so proud of you for bringing it to the GOP.

Tonight we got to see just how much lip service they really pay to our veterans. They looked terrified to actually be in the same room with you. They know they have not done, and are not doing, the right thing by you. You brought a dose of reality to their insulated, fabricated worlds.

Thank you for being there tonight.

it would be great to know who they were....and what has happened to them as a result. Also, I would like to know how they ever got that sign in to the conv. hall....anyway, my great thanks and admiration to them too.

10. Bevoette, just after McCain started speaking, they unfurled protest banners from the gallery.

If I remember correctly, they read:

"You can't win an occupation" and "McCain votes against veterans"

It really shook the Repubs out of their stale complacency.
