Palin's lawyer has already questioned 2 witnesses

The lawyer for Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has begun questioning witnesses who potentially could testify against her in a probe of whether she abused her public office by firing the state public safety commissioner.

The Associated Press learned Thursday night that at least two of the potential witnesses were questioned by the attorney for Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee.

The pre-emptive tactic gives the governor a distinct advantage in the controversy because it means that she already knows at the outset the detailed accounts of potential witnesses against her.

2. I watched her a little while McGoo was talking and she didn't look too happy.

She certainly wasn't as excited as she was last night. Something is in the wind and I'm wondering if the way she was acting tonight was that she secretly knew she probably isn't going to end up the VP in the WH.

Maybe she knows something McGoo doesn't?

Did anyone else notice that?

3. Opposing attys are always allowed to "depose" all witnesses.
However, every time I've been deposed, I always had MY atty present too. I have no idea if those witnesses had that advantage.

4. As long as the mean deposed and not disposed of. People have a way of going away around
this administration - Palin/Mccain included.
