and in charge, why couldn't he pick his own running mate?
Whether Sarah Palin is a good choice or a bad choice, it's not pertinent. The apparent fact remains that she is not his personal choice but rather the choice foisted upon him but others. He wanted Lieberman or Ridge but was told to go with a far Right Wing nutjob who is extremely out of the mainstream. He is not in charge. I'm not even sure he wrote his own speech, which to my sensibilities was kind of bizarre and self-contradictory.
