My predictions for tomorrow......
Obama Campaign will announce that they raised $103 million in August. Later in the day, a surprise endorsement will be the buzz for the whole weekend, blowing the RNC off the front pages. Colin Powell. I think at least one of those will happen..... crossing my fingers for both.

1. Oh, JHC...!!! I hadn't even pondered that. A Powell endorsement would end it.
(well, absent disasters in the debates)

12. Maybe he's decided it would be better for everyone if the Dems were in charge
I do think, if Powell were to endorse Obama, it would carry more strength if retired Gen Shinseki was there with him. I mean, Shinseki got the whole scenario 100% correct

There are lots of rumors floating around. 4/5 of them turn out to be false or are never substantiated. It wouldn't bother me if he endorsed Obama because I can see a lot of pluses and almost zero minuses. But if he did I can see the mcbush commercial: In 2003 Sec of State Colin Powell lied to the whole world in the United Nations. (Hear Powell reading the intel on Iraq) A lie that got the US locked into a near quagmire in Iraq. A quagmire that we are only now starting to get ourselves out from. Obama was opposed to the war, but he accepts the endorsement from one of the men most responsible... What does that say about Obama's principals and judgement. Vote mccain/palin 08

19. I want Hillary to respond
which she has again tonight, but it cannot be a personal attack on Palin. The more she becomes hated, the more she will be hailed as a hero.

8. Has Powell indicated support for Obama before?
I think I remember reading here that Powell had donated to McCain's campaign this year. (I'll see if I can find a link.) Do you think that donation was to support McCain over the other R's in their primary, but that Powell actually supports Obama in the general? Is there something I have missed that Powell has done recently indicating that he is an Obama supporter?
