John McCain wanted to turn our port security over to a foreign government.
If anyone thinks this man has the judgment or the temperament to be commander-in-chief, that's a debate I'm ready to have.

In the sense that it was being given to a foreign contractor. We're the only industrialized country that has absurd xenophobic laws like Exxon-Florio.

Now whether or not port security should be privatized at all is the more serious question here.

It sure as hell should not be privatized but at the very least it should not go to a foreign government.

Especially one with an abysmal human rights record. Or is that sentiment too xenophobic for your tastes?

Dubai Port Worlds, an Arab company. We will outsource everything if we continue down this "FREE TRADE" road.

Last time I checked they were controlled by AIG an "American" multi-national insurance company.

5. It was controlled by the United Arab Emirates at the time
it was being debated in the Senate.
