Is there some way of actually looking up old eBay records? Indexes, even?

That would clear things up for good.

I think Palin just said she put the plane on ebay, which is true.

But the plane didn't sell and the state of Alaska had to hire an aircraft broker who sold it at a loss, not including the commission. McCain this morning said she "sold" it on ebay, at a "profit". While this in itself is not a big deal, the accumulation of these lies IS a big deal in my opinion. It's an attempt not only to show that Palin is a resourceful and dynamic woman. More importantly, it's an attempt to show how wise McCain is in having chosen her and what excellent judgement he has. The very opposite is true of course, and that truth can only be brought out by mentioning the myriad of lies this campaign is telling about Sarah Palin.

Ebay. You can get a good price for a piece of junk on Ebay but you get low offers on things of value like a car, boat or airplane.
