We might not Be Seeing Biden vs. Palin after all
With the recent news that the McJOKE campaign won't allow Palin to talk to the media AT ALL for the rest of the season...it says to me that they're afraid of her screwing it all up for them. So she's obviously not as prepared as they say she is. But there's more, they also don't want her to possibly go off message and say something they don't want out there and show the country just how far-right she really is.

So if they don't want her giving interviews...why should we think they'd want her to do MORE and actually debate someone like Joe Biden who can make her look like a complete fool? IMHO, it's not going to happen. They're probably coming up with some excuse now.

1. All Lipstick, No Bite.
They are just re-enforcing what we know. Not ready for prime time.

3. She has long enough hair
to hide an earpiece. Just can't wear a jacket like * did and expose the receiver.

13. GREAT point. I totally could see them doing that. Is there any way to detect or scramble that
sort of thing you think?

4. She can't skip the VP debate.
To do so would be political suicide. They'll lock her in a room for a week beforehand and prepare her to death, she'll show up for the debate, and they'll whisk her off again.

5. Isn't there a requirement for 3 presidential debates and 1 VP debate???
I thought that was a binding obligation.

7. They won't get away with this...
No way can she get out of a debate.

Maybe McCain should have thought this decision through, for more than 3 seconds.

9. Actually I see that happening so they can 'claim' Biden bullied her
They'll probably have Sarah shed a few tears in hopes that women will be angry that Joe Biden was a bully.

It's all a fucking sham. I'll say this much, I'm glad I'm from the small state with the VP who isn't afraid of getting out there and talking to people!

15. They can't have her back out of the debate now.
I think they are going to have to go through with it. But I agree that they are going to keep her from the media. She will only go on Faux News. Let's just hope that the media will get so pissed off about the lack of access that they will actually do their jobs and come up with the truth about Palin on their own.

16. She will definitely be wired for the debate
It would be so great if she stumbled since she won't have script in front of her but in her ear. Stumble over just a word or two and it will be so obvious.

If they don't let her to go the debates, there will be outrage from the media. Keeping her under wraps as they plan to do already is pushing the limit of patience, but completely removing her from the debates would be a huge mistake.

17. So unreal that a candidate can simply hide out until election day.
What kind of crap is that?
