I just gave a Register to Vote person $5 for lunch

I see them around downtown all the time and have been meaning to do something for them so I asked the girl if she had had lunch yet and gave her a $5

The point of this is that there are a lot of ways to volunteer and a lot of ways to helpout
If you have some money go down to the local office of Obama or a local race and see if they have a WISH LIST. My wife and I stocked up the coordinated campaign office here a few weeks ago (Clorox wipes, paper towels, coffee etc.)


OR take them some REAL FOOD. From what I have seen of campaigns they run on Diet Coke and Pizza/Chinese. Yeah they are mostly young people and they can run off that stuff for a while but a homemade meal wouldn't hurt them nor would some FRUIT hell bake them a cake at least that has REAL FOOD in it.

Just an idea.

I'm going down this weekend to see how I can help.
