26. About 1000.
CEDARBURG, Wis. (AP) — Republican presidential candidate John McCain and running mate Sarah Palin have received a rousing reception in their first joint appearance in a politically vital state after the GOP convention. McCain and Palin were loudly cheered and applauded on the main street of Cedarburg, Wis., a suburb of about 11,000 people near Milwaukee. More than a thousand people jammed the streets to see McCain and the Alaska governor, his suprise choice for the vice presidential nomination who proved to be the hit of the convention.

13. North, rich suburbs of Milwaukee
Now if they went into inner city Milwaukee or anywhere in the greater Madison or even LaCrosse areas they would get a different reception.

7. Mine either!
and surprisingly, most of the McMansions (on the other side of town of course) have Obama signs. Hell, even my doctors wife who still has a bush/cheney bumper sticker has decided to vote for Obama since Palin was selected because "That woman is rude and nasty" (yeah, yeah we could get into the whole if she were a guy she could have gotten away with it argument, but it's not my quote, it's the doctor's wife's)

9. Well, if by "outpouring" they mean "projectile"...

... and "support" they mean "vomiting"...

... then the headline is right on the money! :puke:

go to SWING states and small towns. They don't just talk to their base. They talk to EVERYONE!!

21. "We" should stomp her flatter than roadkill on the interstate
Voters vote on perceptions of reality, not actuality.

But I guess haven't been paying much attention to the last few elections.

Your concern is noted.

22. That's Sensenbrenner country. A lot of braindead folks in that region.
It's these wackjobs who made my moderate Republican dad a diehard Democrat...who scolded me for not being at a convention watching party--as he was--the night of Obama's speech. Nowadays, when I'm not a good Dem, my daddy yells at me! :)

Thank you, cheesehead wingnuts!
