This is the guy with whom Palin reputedly had an affair. Nothing happens for four months and suddenly when the cheating rumor hits, he rushes to court to get his divorce records sealed. Motion denied the next day.

- Todd Palin’s former business partner, named Scott .A.Richter who allegedly had an affair with Sarah Palin filled an emergency motion to seal his divorce records but it was denied.

The Palins own few undeveloped properties on the Safari Lake and Big Lake, AK in Alaska in partnership with Scott A. Richter and his ex-wife Debbie under “Richter Investments LLC.”.Debbie Richter was Palin’s campaign treasurer.

Richter was awarded a job as the Director of the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend Division for her service.

The State of Alaska gives its citizens “free money” checks every year out of this fund. This “free money” comes from oil royalties collected and investments. The Fund is currently worth $35 billion. Under Sarah and Debbie’s leadership in 2006, all Permanent Fund claims from residents (you have to make a claim for your check) were lost in a computer data entry failure. WHY does Scott Richter own part of the Palin's home in Wasilla?

Over on Kos there was an article written by the 2006 Democratic candidate for governor (he's a journalist by trade). He mentions a former Palin aide who started dating the soon-to-be ex-wife of one of Palin's buddies. The aide was summarily fired. It could be that Richter is THIS guy and that there's something in his divorce proceedings that could corroborate that story.

They are blind to their own open hypocrisy. "Family Values" is just a wrapper for the fundie old testament types who stink as bad as their political symbols.

An example: "pro-life" and "pro-war" These people will rag on and on and on about abortion, but turn around and love our march for war. They also are, often, but not all, supporters of the death penalty. This is a dichotomy they have to live with every day. Its something they have to carry into the voting booth and act upon.

Do you honestly think these people are going to see that they are voting for hypocrites? No. These people are used to being told what to do and think. If the preacher man says vote Saint McCain and Mother Palin and that Obama is an adulterer, who will eat their babies and force them to have abortions they will believe it. If Palin says she's on the up and up, that is enough for them. You see they trust the word of their own as gospel, whereas you or I are liars no matter how many facts we give them. They have to trust those words, its ingrained in their culture. If they ever took the time to think instead of march to the tune, there would be none of this and we'd be skipping the election now and going straight to Inauguration Day.
