DUers, refresh my memory
But in 2004, didn't Bush have a much bigger convention bounce? I seem to recall, actually, that Kerry had a good one too, but it all pretty much evaporated by the time the RNC convened, and I recall the Bush bounce being pretty significant and it never really went back down after that.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if the numbers follow a similar trend for Obama and McCain respectively, it looks good for us in the general.

Of course, I have a feeling we'll thoroughly clean their clocks and leave no question as to the winner, but from a numbers standpoint, it's looking pretty damn good from where I'm sitting. McCain just can't move people the same way as Obama can.
