Anyone feel it is Ironic that the New Yorker does a cover with a militant Michelle, and then
McCain actually goes out and taps a millitant woman? The irony of this pick being the opposite of so many people's real values and values in small towns is just wayyyyy off. Everything about her is the opposite of my values and the opposite of many values that I've been taught in my own small town of 300 to 500 people depending on the season.

1. As I said yesterday, she also only offers "guns and religion".

The two things that Obama claimed people cling to when they're bitter.

2. The Clampetts go to Washington
is the perfect analogy. But no liberal journal would dare to say it out loud.

5. Completely unfair analogy.
The Clampetts were good people. They took a live-and-let-live view of the strange California ways. They went out of their way tro be hospitable. And although they had their oil money, they were generous and did not like it one bit when working folks got the short end of the stick. You owe Jed an apology.

6. Not only that, but Ellie May loved "critters" too much to ever shoot one herself.
She'd rather have taken a moose or a polar bear swimming in the see-ment pond.

3. I haven't agreed with anything I've heard her say yet.
Her "values" (what values?) and abhorrent attitude and statements represent the absolute, total opposite of everything I believe in and stand for. She seems 100% un-American to me - "Alaska first! Screw America", as her beloved AIP secessionist group would say.

I honestly believe that Gramps scoured the nation to find the most idiotic, unpatriotic, unqualified religious wacko he could possibly locate for VP. And now they have their fierce "pit bull" hiding and quaking in Alaska, scared shitless of going on the political talk shows (like the other three candidates are) and facing real questioning of her shameful policies and explicitly un-American actions and affiliations.

She was sarcastic and disdainful of true American values when she was at the podium and nobody else could speak or question her. Now she's hiding. She may wear two gigantic flag pins on her lapels, but she's a traitor anyway.
