The bar is being lowered before our eyes.....
Everyone knows Palin is being kept from the press because she would make a complete ass out of herself trying to answer questions about national politics. The media knows it too, but they are starting to accept this as reasonable behavior, and accept her handler's excuses.

Palin being hidden away and protected is totally outrageous! We are being asked to vote for this woman for the Vice Presidency of the United States of America, for crying out loud!

2. Actually, hiding her from the press is a brilliant strategy.
They were waiting for us to attack her on her cluelessness. Then they trot her out with the lame McCain talking points which she will no doubt spout verbatim, which will make her look like a genius because she didn't just say "uh uh uh, I dunno".

5. I know it's a brilliant strategy, but the press is buying into it...
that's what's so infuriating. They're letting the GOP get away with it.

8. Right, that's the way the MSM will spin it.
As long as she doesn't trip over her shoelaces they will praise her. And the same thing applies to the debate with Biden. We need to be saying that we think that Palin will do well in the debate so that we can set expectations for her that she can't meet.

3. I don't recall Joe Biden hiding after his selection.
He was able to hit the ground running... in step with Obama.
This Palin must be a real loose cannon threatening to shoot a hole in the side of the campaign.

Even I know enough about McCain just from following the campaigns for the last two years to be able to fall into what he's for, against, and flipped on. Hasn't she been paying attention? Why does she need "briefing"?

7. Even Dan Quayle has to face tough press questions after he....
was chosen (and was considered by many an inappropriate lightweight for the job of Veep).

9. And the bad thing about it is that...
they expect us to believe that Bush is smarter and has more experience than Obama. Whomever they choose on there side will not be running things it will the same old people from the reagan admin and the other neocons until they die.
