We must petition Obama to put up voter awareness & action alert on his home page

We have had TWO, count them, TWO, stolen Presidential elections.

I contacted Kerry's campaign months before the election, and I implored them to please speak out on the tactics of voter suppression, vote caging, and vote purging BEFORE the election. I called campaign heads. I posted it on his blog. I wrote the campaign, and I called his office. Many others warned his campaign the greatest danger it faced was the manipulation of election
results. We were all ignored.

There is not a doubt in my mind that Barack Obama WILL win this election. I am not at all sure, however, that it will not be stolen again.

Obama needs to ACT on this NOW; the day after the election if/when this happens again is TOO LATE.

Why isn't there a link on his home page telling voters how to ensure their vote is protected this November? Voter education awareness parties (you know, host a party in your home, invite friends, make a plan - teleconferenced with members of Obama's team)might be a good idea. A coordinator for each state posting action alerts for each area. A board for each state (not a group) to post specific relevant stories to provide updates to the campaign, and the voters from each state.

A preemptive plan is a must.

The silence on this issue is deafening. The Republicans WILL cheat and lie and do everything they can to steal this election. What exactly are we going to do about it?

1. Obama's home page is perfect as is.
There are such options on his website already if you examine it completely.

5. It should be FRONT & CENTER

It is one of the biggest threats to becoming POTUS.

After two stolen Presidential elections, you would think this issue would be TOP priority with the dem candidates.

If ensuring that democratic votes are counted, and Republican tactics don't fall below the radar doesn't warrant top spot media, nothing does. Frankly, I am sick to death of working for democratic campaigns and giving the little money I have, and have this issue not be given the serious action it deserves.

2. Don't wait for Obama. Petition your own state legislatures for a paper trail. Mine went to paper
ballots.

6. I ran the largest myspace election fraud group on myspace with daily action alerts and interviews

On progressive media....

I have spoke on this issue.

I live in MA. We have paper trails.

Obama is the only one who can lead on this issue and prevent another theft.

12. Media is fine. So is the internet. But until people petition their state legislatures, nothing

3. An expanded voter registration page is in order

at www,barackobama.com.

They have done step one but need lots more strategies in place for the ROVE Game.

9. Have you seen their voter registration check web page?

It can verify your registration in one click.

They are adding more to that site too.

4. I AGREE! It needs to tell everyone who goes to his site to check their registration!
And if they KNOW anyone who's moved, or had their hoe reposessed and now has a different address, they need to tell them to check their registration too! I had a conversation on DU a few hours ago about this and I was told it would be impossible to contact EVERY VOTER! Well, you're idea of posting that info on Obama's page & Biden if he has a separate site would be a big step in the right direction! Apparently caging postcards are about to be mailed, and many people move and the last thing they think about if re-registering to vote!

When I applied for an absentee ballot here in Ga. the form was to be used not only to apply for an absentee ballot if you couldn't get to the poll on election day, but for people in the military and are on a deployment, and for ex-pats! I sent the link to my son who is in Italy, but is it necessary for every deployed military person to apply for a ballot too? I honestly don't know!

It's GREAT to register new voters, and we must continue to do that, but there have been a LOT of problems in past elections where people thought everything was just fine UNTIL THEY TRIED TO VOTE! We CAN'T rely on those silly provisional ballots that they probably never count!

10. The rapid response team could use some encouragement or a swift kick whichever gets it moving.
