RE: that "they must think you're stupid!" comment.
There was an earlier post about what a great slogan this would be. I agree! Couldn't we turn it into handouts to distribute that would debunk the lies in each of the policy areas that McCail has just made crap up in? For example, the energy policy lies would be a good one.

They must think you are stupid!

You know that (something about how long it takes to get rigs built and online) and something about the total amount of oil available in the ground in the US.

and a series of debunking statements like this aimed at bolstering the person as an intelligent being

followed by

statements of Obama's plans.

What do you think?

2. I would change "you" to "we" so it plays better.

3. I'll chime in and say Americans, or American voters....
but, yes, I think this is a great idea.

:)

4. Furthermore....can we define "they" better,
yet keep it short for slogan purposes?

Republican (Politicians) Think Americans Are Stupid.

versus

Republicans Think Americans Are Stupid.

6. Good idea!
I wonder if we could get an action group together to work on different areas who have expertise in policy areas. Any one know how to kick this up the chain?

5. Don't overuse that great line! IMO, it's best used only for clearly self-contradictory
McCain positions, such as

(1) the existence of clips of McCain saying, "I voted with Dubya 90 percent of the time", counterposed against clips of McCain asserting, "I will clean up the mess in Washington " and

(2) The K-Street resumes of his key campaign staff, versus his pledge to "change the system". of lobbyist influence in Washington.

If overused, the slogan "They must think we're stupid" can be interpreted by voters who don't understand the alleged contradictions as, "DEMOCRATS think you're stupid".
