Kids .... It's McCain!!! Palin is a joke.
Look, Miss Thang is going to stay on the ticket even if there is video of her and "TAWD" fucking a moose.

We didn't have the internets in 1988 when dumb fuck Dan was the VP nom.

Let's just focus on McCain and what an asshole he is.

Oh I loved the Palin shit for about three days ... BUT ... she's not the nominee for prez.

Let's pump up Obama and go after Mc-SAME!!!

14. It is a glaring fault in his judgement. Don't you agree?
HIS judgment is faulty for wanting to put someone so unsuited into second in command. If they are going to focus on her, use it to show how poor his judgment is.

15. I agree. Its implicit in all the Palin talk.
And frankly, there's so much Palin talk that it would be like answering a jeopardy question.

3. We know that, but it seems a big number of Republicans have forgotten it.
It's Palin they're voting for now.

11. Our goal is not the repuke base
The people we have to bring to Obama are independents and disaffected Democrats (so-called Reagan Democrats). If we convince a few thinking repubs, great! But they're not the primary goal.

13. You're absolutely right - but I'm afraid some of the disaffected Democrats
may get sucked in by the media love fest. Kind of like they did with Reagan.

9. Nope. She's the Big Oil puppet, just like Cheney.
Nobody took Cheney very seriously in 2000 either, and look where that got us.

10. Ok, let's focus on McCain
And one way of focusing on McCain is by vetting his VP candidate and, in doing so, demonstrating McCain's lack of judgment, lack of effort, and lack of independence.

everyone to forget about the loon they've chosen, but to do so would be worldwide disaster.

17. McCain's ratings went up
ONLY after he introduced an unknown gimmick to the ticket. How sad of a reflection is that on his standing within his own party?

Also, take a moment to realize we are dealing with the "post-rational" voter (as Rachel would say) as his base. A lot of RW nut-cases who were going to stay home may now come out to put their children's future in the hands of a half-term Governor. A responsibility they weren't going to give John McCain, a 26-year senator and ex-POW.

Thinking people know what's up; and that includes Democrats, Independents and Republicans. This isn't a movie of the week, it's the future of the country we're talking about. I still have faith we will turn out millions more voters -- because this country is too important to too many people to leave it in the hands of a a small town mayor from Moosepoo, Alaska.

22. I agree.
The race is between Obama and McCain. Palin has been put out there to keep the heat of of McCain and his lack of a plan to "change" things. We do need to focus on McCain, his record, and his temper.

Now on the other hand I really do think that if that video Tad, her and the moose does come out, she is gone!
