What the folks back home (in NE) are saying about the election
"back home" being Central Nebraska, one of the reddest parts of the state. It's farm country and some people are grumbling that McCain wants to pull the plug on ethanol subsidies. My dad was saying, I didn't think his anti-ethanol stance would get to me but it really has. If he gets rid of ethanol it's going to be the Great Depression around here. I was at a bar with some cousins and they were saying about the same thing. Some other guy tried to say that Obama was even more anti-ethanol. I wasn't going to put up with that type of mis-information, so I said first of all Obama's from a farm state and second of all, have you ever known the democrats to NOT throw money at everything. You can vote to cut your own throat if you want, but I'm going to vote my wallet and vote for Obama. This is for all you cynics that think issues don't matter.
