A Modest Proposal...

Anyone who reveals their complete ignorance of the dynamics of polling by simply measuring convention bounces peak-to-peak (and thereby posts nonsense like "OMG! McCain got a 17-point bounce!" or "McCain's convention bounce much bigger than Obama's!!!!!") should have their posts deleted and themselves temporarily tombstoned until they spend a period of penance over on 538.com and figure out how to interpret polls.

Hey, it's better than eating Irish babies! (And, if you don't know what I mean by that, read some Jonathan Swift.)
