We need to understand our fellow Democrats and not vilify them.
That was the purpose of my previous post on why I was not a PUMA.

I am sorry if anyone was offended, but quite frankly, it offends me that we cannot try to understand those who were stauch allies and bring them back on board. This is a year we should NOT be losing, and yet we're in this tight race. We need our Democrats back on board, and we will not get them by vilifying them.

1. Amen. I am shocked at how many folks will not support out ticket.
I understand why but we need them to win. Sarah Palin and Mccain are an anaethema and they must be made aware of that. We cannot make them see reason with abuse.

2. Like me? I've been a lifelong democrat, support this ticket, but
when I ask questions I get called names. I may be more "conservative" in my democratic beliefs than some but I still support our party. Name calling towards your fellow voters does not help the cause & in fact it may very well turn some off to vote another direction or not vote at all.

4. I'm behind this ticket 100%...

but if I make non-worshipful comments, I get called names. Yesterday I pointed out that the term "community organizer" wasn't specific enough - someone compared it to 'firefighter' and 'cop' - compared to those two terms. It just isn't specific enough for a lot of people to understand what it is and people got all over my ass and called me names, etc.

Folks just don't seem to notice the positive posts I make and posts like this, but it's not enough for many of the folks here:

FDR: I wish we lived in Texas or Illinois where they let dead people vote!
ER: Franklin! But I do wish I could vote this year...

6. Ain't it grand?
It was taken in May '33 and must be the last one taken when neither is grey, wrinkled or exhausted looking.

I've had them telling people to hop in the car to go to Denver, etc. It's never enough for the folks here.

9. They know what community organizer means, how about Liberal they spent millions
to tar that word. In otherwords they attack your strengths,Obama was a community organizer over 20yrs ago for 3 yrs. They don't joke about his professional credentials,Civil Rights Attorney, professor etc. A person has to be very humble to help out a community rather than make huge sums of money.
Community organizer bringing people together to better their lives. If a certain segment of society is poor and broken down,a community organizer can come in and help that community establish banks, schools, child care programs, loans etc. Basically educating and teaching people how to become better citizens.
