A reality check from a small town resident

My sister who can be considered to be an independent voter shared her thoughts regarding Sarah Palin with me and they cheered me up so I thought I'd share them. I was hesitant to bring up Palin because I was sure my sis (pro life) was going to be in love with her but I was happily mistaken. She hates Palin! She can't stand the fact that Palin brags about going back to work so quickly after having her baby. It infuriates her because most women do not have the resources to do so much less are willingly to leave their newborns so early. After I filled her in more on the many scandals of Palin (too many to bring up!lol) I told her about the debt of Wasilla in which she mention her ex (father of her kids) who is a hard core republican and how he thinks Palin is next to god. Of course I expected nothing less from him, I am sure he still thinks Bush is a great leader. Anyway she told me his "talking points" and all had to do with McCain lowering taxes on everyone and how Obama will raise them on everyone and such to which she actually knew was false. He also thinks all Dems are on welfare (which is absurd because most people I know on welfare are republicans) But the best part came when they were driving by the Republican Headquarters and he went ape shit because NO ONE WAS THERE!!!lol I thought I was going to die laughing.

her husband is a fundie, but she claims to be an independent. She doesn't like Palin because she thinks she needs to be home with her kids. She doesn't trust her.
