Which makes me wonder if he was ever really there? Ok, it doesn't. But still, he wasn't tortured. Because the United States doesn't torture people.

Out hero is right. If this thing really isn't about issues, then Obama needs to beat him on force of personality.

It's funny how McCain's campaign mocks Obama as "The One" when that's exactly what McCain is trying to run as. And mocking him for celebrity when McCain has tried so hard to be one these last 8 years.

Selling his soul was when he orginally started working on ethics reform etc, in order to restore his reputation after Keating 5. People always talk about the "old McCain" like he was really something special. I think he was always a shifty pol, he just had to start up a new image to reform himself, and then when it was done he reverted back to old form again.
