Tell MSNBC you're PISSED OFF about them yanking Olberman
Edited on Mon Sep-08-08 01:32 AM by demdog78
I am so pissed right now. How could they yank Olberman and replace him with Gregory? WTF?

I just wrote a scathing letter telling them I think they are just like CNN and FOX, and since there is no differnce, I'll just watch CNN for my election coverage... Especially since you can stream three different live videos all day.

Here is the email address

letters@msnbc.com

*on a side note, I have NO intent to watch CNN either... We have plenty of other options these days. I just wanted to piss them off.

1. I'm not pissed off though.
Best to have them as commentators during that time because they can be a heck of a lot more critical. The anchor is supposed to come off as non-biased and that's the last thing Olberman is.

2. Olbermann is not biased
He is telling the truth. We have got to stop pretending we're biased because the truth is on our side.

4. I support you for feeling this way however I disagree.
After watching his coverage the past few weeks I can see he is drawn to our cause too much to just report. That is the backlash that NBC received since they've had he & Matthews in the chair. Chairs just need to report the news & allow the commentators to spice it up. He's great on his show; that's his time to say what he feels. I am a Democrat and I disagree with the way he's treated both Democrats and Republicans alike and how he's allowed his personal feelings to interfere with his delivery.

on. And do not be naive. Gregory will slant in favor of Republicans. He always has. He's frickin' fawned all over Dummya.

8. that's right...
why is it when our side simply tells the truth we are accused of being biased? Can anyone name one thing that Olberman ever said that was not true?

10. So they put Gregory in there to be "unbiased"
Give me a break. Gregory is a McBush shill. He has had the brain chip implanted by Rove.

3. They yanked Olberman?
Are you sure it's not just for a few days? Maybe he's out sick?

If you write again, tell them it's The Weather Channel 24/7 from now on, they show way more actual news now that any of the so-called 24 hour "news" channels.

6. He and Matthews are not in the chair for the debates, that is all
they are still on the job and such. They will be commentators for the debates.

18. No, they did not "yank" him from the air.
He hasn't disappeared, that's not the issue. The issue is that they're not going to let him ANCHOR election coverage anymore, just be an "analyst" on it. It's in the New York Times. This is not a "he got fired" rumor started by someone who hasn't seen him on MSNBC lately.

9. George Carlin (RIP) is cursing right now!!
From a guy who is sorely missed:

"Well, when they have on people who don't agree with them. I mean, there are guests on all these shows — all of these news networks are interesting because of the guests and analysts that they bring on. To me, it's not so much the reporting of the news that's interesting. I do love Keith, I think Keith Olbermann's a great show, love that - I think it's one of the greatest presentations of news for a news show that's ever been devised - but the main thing that these channels have going for them is their guests. And their roundtables and discussion. I just love to listen and all that stuff. I'm an old political junkie, I guess."
