MSNBC is now boycotted in my TV watching. Chris and Keith
will be replaced by Gregory on debate and election coverage 'cause Keith shut down Buchanan a couple of times and the two "were not professional" on the air with the bickering. I'm so angry right now at how the media has caved, how they let Scab, Buchanan, Mitchell and Gregory go on and on with their RW garbage, but Chris and Keith are verboten? No more, enough. I shall e-mail to let them know my enormous displeasure with this announcement. The media is going to hell in a handbasket. The other joke is ABC and Gibson with that "interview" with Palin. Disgusting...

9. You'd be about the only one
I loved him and Dan on ESPN back in the day! When I found out his politics, it just sealed the deal. :-)

Hey, at least NBC let him on "Football Night In America" tonight. He's still got the sports goods for sure.

20. Ok so like the 4th or 5th most biased "Anchor" on tv
But in all honesty isn't he a commentator/comedian? So maybe he isn't the most biased or even top 5 biased "anchors" but as a commentator/comedian he is close to the top 3.

10. I am a woman can I advocate violence to a woman? Just one!
I saw Andrea Mitchell on Chris Matthews today
Chris did a poll of the MSNBC Pundits asking what they thought of Sarah Palin
When she was first announced would she help or hurt McCain

out of the 12 asked it was a 50/50 split. After her speech
it was 8 to 4 Palin was GOOD for McCain

Then he has Andrea Mitchell on Gushing like a moron about how she changed her Vote and Palin won her over,
Now here's where the Violence comes in
I WANTED TO PUT MY FIST THROUGH HER FACE!!!

but I am not a crazy lunatic, so I changed the channel
But Andrea Mitchell ain't worth the Paper I use to wipe my ass
and I use to have a little respect for the woman

14. Well that will show 'em
that's what they want you to do. Then KO's ratings will go down and they can dump him for someone else.

Email and call them to let them know of your disgust, but don't quit watching KO. Besides tonight is Rachel Maddow's premiere.

I'll be letting them know if they need to ditch someone it should be Pat Buchanan and David Gregory, that would be a start.

I wouldn't be surprised that McCain had something to do with this decision, since he threatened to cancel his debate with Brokaw hosting the debate.

23. I think it is just $$$.
I think it is just $$$.

MSNBC rating for combined (RNC & DNC) coverage were in the tank.

Of course FAUX ended up on top but MSNBC was dead last (like a lap behind).
I can't find the breakdown right now but for RNC Faux had like 10mil viewers (obviously).
However every other network did "decent" 9mil, 7mil, 6.5mil, etc.
The second to last place was 5.5 mil then MSNBC barely 2 mill.

When you pull in 20% of the highest share heads are going to roll.
If Chris & Keith were biased AND brought in the ratings it would be fine.
Being biased and driving rating towards FAUX and CNN isn't what the bean counters upstairs want.

24. While I Like Olbermann
Edited on Mon Sep-08-08 08:21 AM by NikolaC
I have found MSRNCBC to be quite useless and irritating. I completely stopped watching them when they fought to keep Kucinich out of the debates. For my own sanity I no longer watch either cable or broadcast news. I tried, REALLY tried, but cannot take the stress of watching them any more. They are basically misinformation and propaganda mills that rot the brain, keep many ignorant and are very responsible for a lot of what, I feel, is wrong with today's society .
