RCP average has McCain up 1

Is this the first time he has been ahead?

Also, one poll has McCain with a 10-point lead! That can't be right, not when all the others are either tied or small single digits.

That poll showed him +4 overall.

And yes, it's the first time he's led. After the next couple of weeks, his convention bounce will dissipate and
we'll be back to previous levels.

Amazing how gullible and malleable voters are. When Dems are on TV, I want to vote Dem. When Repubs are on TV, I want to vote Repub. Do people have no core values???

Can TV really persuade that many voters? Sad.
