Funny, Mika - I don't recall you EVER claiming that Hillary Clinton was a better candidate or would be a better president because of Chelsea. Or is that the more children a woman has, the better qualified she is to be president or vice president and Hillary just didn't make the cut?

Oh,and by the way - although you and your cohorts in the media keep blathering about how "some on the left question" whether someone with Palin's responsibilities should be running for vice president (yet you never seem to mention who those "some" are), no one in Obama's campaign, none of his surrogates and no one from the Democratic Party has raised any such question. Palin's children, however, seem to be the objects of her misguided politics and values. Suddenly, the contingencies that many families deal with (and that are criticized by the right) have been turned into a political virtue in what could only be detrimental to reducing pregnancy rates among teens. Efforts to deal with teen pregnancy are effectively gutted because, in her and the McCain campaign's words, they should be celebrated for choosing marriage after the fact. Will Bristol's choosing "life" bring down abortion rates? Some pro-life Catholics doubt it.
