No more defending Palin!
Got it? It's taking down Obama. Got it? Is that what your intentions are?

Answer me.

5. No one is defending her.
However, some of us don't care to be spreading blatent lies that will make us look foolish and make Palin look like like a victim. We don't need the media "defending her!" Poor widdle woman. :puke:

There's enough crap on her that we don't need to do that, imo. Just her evironmental record is enough to make moderates take a closer look at her.
Her family's involvement in the Alaska Independence Party is a gold mine, too. And if more comes out about the birth of that child, she'll be exposed as a liar and a fraud.

7. Some people think exposing Palin's lack of qualifications
Edited on Mon Sep-08-08 07:35 AM by baldguy
her lack of experience, her criminality and her insanity might - somehow - hurt Obama.

8. Palin as a person is the strongest point of the Republican ticket.
Focussing attention on her personally, rather than on McCain or the issues, will hurt Obama.

9. Giving her a pass because she's a woman will hurt Obama.
Letting the GOP expand her myth without challenge will hurt Obama.

Not attacking his opponents on every level will hurt Obama.

11. I think you're wrong.

I think that many possible lines of attack will be extremely counterproductive.

If the Democrats treat her as the main threat, that will help "expand her myth"; if they focus on McCain, that will make it harder.

12. Attack their strength.
McCain is the weak candidate, and Palin is the current object if discussion. UNCRITICAL discussion. Giving her a pass is a losing strategy.

4. Also no dems saying "she's a great politician, but..." or "he's a war hero, but..."
No need to handle them so delicately.

Call them out... get angry.... no need to cushion the blow

6. Stop attacking mothers of special needs children, working women and mothers in general and
people will stop defending. Start attacking her for the right reasons and no one will.
