THE GREAT WHITE SNARK, Sara Palin
Here is my list of "RED FLAGS," about the Great White Snark from the land of the midnight bribe.

1). TEMPERAMENT: Upon being elected to position of mayor of Wasilla (pop. 5,000) she demanded a "loyalty oath," be signed by every city employee pledging their support of her.

She fired Wasilla's police chief because she was intimidated by his size (over 6' and 240 lbs) and because he had looked "harshly," at her once.

Palin fired the town librarian because she would not ban certain books that Palin found offensive. (the popular librarian was reinstated after an outcry from the people of Wasilla)

She was forced by state Republican Party to hire a city administrator after her power grabs in the initial months in office resulted in the beginning of a recall movement.

2). FISCAL IRRESPONSIBILITY: Upon taking office in Wasilla the town had no long term debt. She hired a high priced lobbyist and secured over $27 million in federal earmarks and still managed to leave the tiny town over 19 million dollars in debt after eight years in office.

3). INTEGRITY/HYPOCRISY: Running as a reformer and an opponent of earmarks her record paints a very different picture. She is under investigation for attempting to influence the Alaskan State Safety Commissioner to fire her former brother-in-law from the State Police Force. Unwilling to violate ethical standards and legal thresholds in the case, Walt Monegan, appointed to the Safety Commissioner post by Palin was fired.
Palin initially and categorically denied any involvement or contact with Commissioner Monegan. After e-mails and a recorded phone call surfaced that documented over 20 contacts between 14 members of Palin's staff, including Palin and her husband, Palin was forced to modify her story.
Initially she pledged co-operation in the growing scandal but retained a lawyer @$95,000.00, and is moving to have the case taken away from the appointed prosecutor, a man named Branchflower, and given to a three man panel that have all been appointed by Palin.
Witness's aligned with Palin that had formerly agreed to testify have withdrawn their agreements forcing a delay in the case.
Palin replaced commissioner Monegan with a man who was officially reprimanded for sexual harassment.

Claiming to be against the use of pork barrel spending she directed staggering amounts of pork into Alaska as governor and into Wasilla as mayor. She claimed to have been against the "Bridge to No Where." but was actually for it before she was against it and she is presently pushing for an even more expensive, although lesser known bridge to no where.

4). LUNATIC FRINGE BELIEFS: Palin is against the right to choose by even victims of rape and incest, an extremist view that places her to the right of 89% of Americans.

Her husband was recently a member of the AIP Party (Alaskan Independence Party) and Palin gave a video recorded speech to the group this year.

Palin has been linked to "Christan Domininionist" churches including one where a sermon was recently given which claimed God was exacting judgment on Jewish people by means of terrorist bombings because they refused to convert to Christianity.

IN YOUR GUTS, YOU KNOW SHE'S NUTS

-and what does her selection say about the judgement of John McCain?-
