For anyone who argues that McCain gives everyone a cut, they need to remember that the US is in massive debt.

What's more, our "current account balance", a measure of the strength of our economy in terms of trade, puts us DEAD LAST. China is number one.

Just as a family can't run around with huge credit debt and expect to ever do well, so can our country not continue down this unsustainable path.

The sad truth that sounds so unpatriotic to tell, but must be told, is that America is number one only in the size of our military, nothing else.

We don't have the tallest buildings, or the greatest technologies, or the strongest economy, we are just spinning down the toilet bowl and it has to stop.

My guess is that McCain's plan would take Bush's budget and create massive deficits as far as the eye could see without any significant improvement in the economic condition of the lower 90% of Americans.

Obama at least would start things rolling once again and possibly even follow Bill Clinton's performance.
