I called NBC and told them I won't watch their election coverage unless
and, until Olbermann & Mathews are back in the anchor chairs. And, I won't.

1. Thank you
the GOP took action to get them off the air, the only way to get them back on is to make twice as many calls and send twice as many letters.

16. Matthews is an equal opportunity cheerleader.

He goes whichever way the wind is blowing. That being said, he does provide interesting historical and insider perspectives and the decision to promote the vapid, GOP stooge Gregory is a BIG mistake.

Mathews rips McCain a new one all the time.

7. What the fuck does this matter anyways
I have no plans of watching ANY of these shows on election day since I'll be at the after-election day parties to hopefully celebrate Obama's win. But if I am at home I'll watch C-Span.

But no way am I blocking/boycotting a channel that gives me Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddows.

12. I agree, I wish we could choose our battles better
I don't care who's anchoring the coverage. I care about the coverage and right now it is decidedy in favor of McCain.

Time would better be spent calling and asking for fair coverage.

The media sure knows how to pull our strings.

13. I don't understand it..
the Debates are the debates. What does 'news coverage' of the Debates mean? Does that refer to the spin provided after-wards to let people know that what they heard is not what was said? As far as election night, what 'news coverage' could possibly be biased? How can reporting the returns be biased?

14. I emailed first thing this morning.
Told them they were replacing Matthews and Olbermann with a right wing shill and it's apparent GE doesn't want to give up their war profiteering.

I suggest we all do the same. Maybe we'll get them to reconsider.
