Hmm... what a novel way to do bidding of the corporations.

So God wants us to spend billions of dollars to destroy the planet and continue our dependence on foreign oil. And you thought Bush/Cheney was bad.

3. The pipeline is God's will. I guess God has nothing better to do

besides enriching Alaskans. It used to be considered blasphemous to pray to God for material wealth, but now that we have "prosperity preachers", I suppose it's the norm now.

of Christian teaching, in direct correlation to its alignment with the "blessed are the rich and powerful" GOP. (Catholics and mainstream non-evangelical Christian denominations, however, still seem to have the right mind-set.)

5. Actually, the last time that I spoke with God, he told me that I should pray for the pipeline.

We were sitting around listening to Black Sabbath and he said, "Hey, you really should ask me for that pipeline in Alaska." I said, "Dude, that's awesome.....Can I have that new pipeline?" Then he said, "I'll think about it.....Pass the Cheetos...."

6. Oh yeah, and the Iraq invasion/occupation was also a "task" from God.

The scary thing is - she seems to know "God's will" and "God's tasks" to be done, and as soon as she is in a position of great power I have no doubt she will get to work trying to bring "God's plan" to reality.
